Job description

Job Overview:
Comfi-Kare Homecare Services is currently hiring experienced Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA's) to provide high-quality, non-medical in-home care to seniors in Maryland.
GNA Responsibilities:
As a Home Care GNA, you will assist clients with:
● Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
● Help clients move safely, walk, or transfer from bed/chair
● Prepare meals and assist with feeding
● Monitor and record vital signs and client condition
● Provide companionship and emotional support
● Perform light housekeeping related to patient care
● Remind clients about medications
● Maintain a safe and clean environment
● Document care provided and report changes to nurses or family.
GNA Requirements:
● Active Maryland GNA certification
● Current CPR certification (preferred)
● Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
● Ability to pass background check
● Ability to provide 2 professional references
● You will need PPD, QuantiFERON Gold or CXR
