Summary/Objective
The coordinator will be responsible for providing departmental Safety and Training expertise and support for approximately 150-200 temporary associates. They will be responsible foroverseeing safety and leadershipsitewide.This position providessupport and team leadership, toattainSafety, Quality, Delivery and Costobjectivesfor the MAU Team at Kimberly-Clark,Paris, Texas.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Work schedule will be Monday-Friday from 6:15am to 3:00pm. Occasional nights or weekends are needed based on business need.
Essential Functions
Customer Expectations
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert with material flow processes and continuous improvement champion.
- Ensure that material flow processes are completed to SQDC standards.
- Oversee management of multiple raw materials that have critical process variables that must be controlled
- Assist General Manager in providing total management of the MAU staff assigned to specific assets on multiple shift operations.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert with material flow processes and continuous improvement champion.
- Assist General Manager in ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local laws.
Safety:
- Drive SAFETY as the number one priority for MAU at K-C.
- Serve as a role model of Safety.
- Perform a minimum of 5 quality BBOs weekly.
- Use Second Obligation to help keep the Team Safe.
- Assist the Platforms by leading or assisting with 4-Step Problem Solving Sessions as needed.
- Create and update Work Standards using Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Create training videos based off of the Working Standards.
- Perform weekly safety gembas.
- Provide leadership to Full Time Regular Employees within the platform as well as across the Mill.
- Ensure training files are green.
- Sign off on all new hire training files.
- Ensure training filesare tostandard.
Training:
- Adhere to standard training course guidelines, including OSHA-required safety training, LOTO authorized training, powered industrial equipment certification, platform-specific safety and GMP training, and job-specific certification.
- Train and certify trainees according to established standards.
- Document all training activities, including updating training matrices in Teams and recording details in Bullhorn.
- Ensure training files meet standards, including accurate completion of 30-day, 90-day, and annual reviews.
- Provide coaching to all associates.
- Assist in developing training standards for departments and sites.
Communications:
- Assist with site wide communications related to policy changes and deployment.
- Serve as a witness, when required for attendance, work performance, and conduct counseling sessions.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years applicable experience

Work Environment or Working Conditions
The working conditions and environments that are created by our customer's facilities both in administrative areas and manufacturing environments. Working conditions will typically be manufacturing or warehouse settings that may include process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles. Environments may vary from non-air conditioned (hot/cold) environments to GMP clean room required.
Physical Demands
This position may require the following to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Must be able to walk up to 6 miles daily
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Travel
Occasional travel may be needed but limited to less than 25 miles per month
