About The Position

Reporting to our Parts Director, our Parts Counter Advisor is an integral part of our Parts Department responsible for the sales and inventory process. Success in this role requires attention to detail, passion for customer satisfaction, and the ability to problem solve. You'll be expected to assist both our customers and our service department in locating needed parts, some of which can be challenging to attain in today's market. Pricing, billing, and inventory will also be an important part of the process.ย

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
  • Converse effectively/efficiently to customers and employees regarding customer parts status
  • Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up specific parts
  • Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customers
  • Review body shop estimates to verify the parts ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and prior auto parts dealership sales experience
  • Previous dealership parts experience required. GM parts experience preferred
  • Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents
  • Ability to calculate figures/amounts including; discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, %, area, circumference, and volume
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
