Nimnicht Buick GMC is looking for an experienced General Motors Certified Service Technician to join our award-winning service team. At Nimnicht Buick GMC, you'll work in a modern facility alongside an experienced team with the latest GM diagnostic equipment, continuous factory training, and a steady flow of repair orders that allow you to maximize your earning potential.
What You'll Do
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain General Motors vehicles according to GM factory standards.
  • Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently and accurately.
  • Utilize GM diagnostic equipment and service information to identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
  • Complete multi-point inspections and recommend needed maintenance or repairs.
  • Maintain ASE and GM certification requirements through ongoing training.
  • Ensure repair orders are completed accurately with proper documentation.
  • Test drive vehicles as needed to verify repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with Service Advisors and fellow technicians to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Adhere to all dealership safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Current General Motors Certification required.
  • ASE Certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional automotive repair experience.
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to efficiently use scan tools, computers, and digital repair information.
  • able to pass a pre-employment drug test
