The person in this role demonstrates a high level of professionalism, prioritizing the effective planning, coordination, and execution of global SAP release cycles. Responsibilities include managing significant operational plans and projects with limited oversight, ensuring successful outcomes for complex release initiatives, and developing strategic plans within the department. This role requires leveraging deep knowledge of Bunge's business and strategy to develop innovative solutions, building strong partnerships, influencing stakeholders, and coaching others to drive results through high standards and effective change management. You will be recognized as an expert within the organization for your specialization in global SAP release management.

What You'll Be Doing:
   Lead the coordination and execution of complex global SAP release projects, ensuring adherence to established timelines and quality standards.
   Manage the operational plans and processes for large-scale SAP deployments and upgrades with considerable independence, contributing to their overall success.
   Act as a key participant in significant release initiatives, driving their progress and influencing outcomes across various SAP landscapes.
   Analyze intricate release management problems, developing and implementing solutions where traditional precedents may not exist.
   Oversee the management of test cycles, including the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of testing processes. Design and implement test automation tools to enhance efficiency and reliability, ensuring robust validation of SAP releases and upgrades.
   Provide valuable input on resource planning and policy development within the global SAP release management and Testing  framework.
   Contribute to short to mid-term (1-3 years) talent optimization plans within the job area, fostering growth and development among professionals.
   Ensure the successful delivery of solutions to complex release management challenges by applying acquired expertise and continuous learning
   Accountable for the successful outcomes of large and moderately complex global SAP release & testing projects.
   Develops and drives plans within the department, influencing the strategic direction of SAP lifecycle management.
   Recognized as an expert in global SAP release management within the organization, shaping best practices and standards.
   Applies knowledge of Bunge's business and strategy to deliver innovative solutions that improve results and eliminate release-related issues.

   On-time delivery and successful completion of global SAP releases.
   Reduction in post-release incidents and defects.

Major Opportunities and Decisions:
   Analyzing and solving difficult, non-routine problems related to complex global SAP release scenarios, often without clear precedents.
   Developing innovative solutions to improve Bunge's SAP release processes and mitigate risks across diverse geographical and functional areas.
   Making critical decisions regarding release scope, scheduling, and risk management to ensure business continuity and system stability.
   Prioritizing and strategizing on complex tasks, leveraging best practices to improve products, services, or processes within the SAP ecosystem.

Management/Leadership:
   Manages operational plans and large projects/processes with limited oversight from management, demonstrating strong initiative and ownership.
   Leads and participates in significant release and Testing  initiatives, influencing outcomes and driving collaboration across teams and functional areas.
   Provides leadership and guidance to professionals and support staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement in release management.
   Contributes to short to mid-term (1-3 years) talent optimization plans to execute strategies within the global SAP release function.

Key Relationships, Stakeholders & Interfaces (External & Internal): 
   Internal: Global SAP Architecture team, BT Global Solutions leadership, various SAP functional teams (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial), Project Managers, Development teams, Testing teams, Business Units, Change Management teams. 
   External: SAP vendors, third-party service providers, consulting partners.


Skill/Experience Requirements:
   Bachelor's degree (Master's may be required or preferred) with 11 - 14 years of position-related functional management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
   In-depth knowledge and proven expertise in SAP lifecycle management, including release, change, and transport management processes.
   Strong understanding of SAP architecture, development, and testing methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, DevOps).
   Proficiency in release orchestration tools and methodologies.
   In-depth understanding of SAP modules and integration points to effectively design and oversee test strategies.
   Expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management within SAP environments.
   Advanced skills in leveraging test automation tools, such as Tosca, for efficient testing and reporting.
   Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex, multi-dimensional challenges.
   Ability to apply existing methodologies to solve complex problems and recommend process or service improvements.
   Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to build partnerships and gain commitment from diverse stakeholders.
   Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and regulatory compliance impacting SAP releases and Testing management.
