Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Provide armed security services, including access control, vehicle and personnel inspections, patrols, and protection of government property and facilities.
  • Respond to emergencies and security incidents while enforcing post orders, company policies, and government regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, government personnel, visitors, and the public while maintaining detailed situational awareness.
  • Maintain weapon qualifications, physical fitness standards, proper equipment readiness, and availability for flexible schedules including weekends and holidays..

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED and must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid state driver's license and ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements for armed security officers.
  • Ability to pass required background investigations, security screenings, firearms qualifications, and annual physical fitness testing.
  • Clean criminal history, eligibility to work in the United States, and ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Honorably discharged military veteran (if applicable).
  • Prior armed security, military, law enforcement, or force protection experience.
  • Experience working in government, military, or high-security environments.
  • Relevant security certifications, training, or clearances.
