This Position reports to:

Senior Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Evaluate, selects and applies standard techniques and procedures to perform Engineering assignments in projects. Assists in preparing proposal/presentation of service engineering projects/programs.
  • Identify customers requirements, analyze and document as-is process and process interfaces, design to-be integration in collaboration with business resources.
  • Creates work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility and ensures quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost. Understanding of the complete project life cycle including project deliverables is must.
  • Provides technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities. Understanding of the complete project life cycle including project deliverables is must. Work experience in projects with customers from multiple geographical areas /multi-cultural is an added advantage.
  • Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.
  • Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

Qualifications for the role
  • Full time B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & communications. Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on Process /Safety System Experience predominantly in Application Engineering,
    HMI engineering, FAT and SAT.
  • Good Knowledge on Process /ICSS and Safety Systems (Fire & Gas Protection Systems / Emergency Shutdown Systems). Configuration of Network Switches/Routers/Firewall, Configuration of Field devices like HART, Profibus & Foundation Fieldbus, Asset Optimization will be added advantage.
  • Knowledge on Third party Communication like MODBUS, OPC Etc.
  • Experience in any ABB systems like 800xA, MOD300, AC800M, will be added advantage. Experience on DCS controller migration will be added advantage.
