About the role:

The Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor leads daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics operations to ensure material availability, inventory accuracy, on-time customer deliveries, and operational efficiency, supervising a team of approximately six associates, including a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, Material Handlers, Inventory Control Personnel, Logistics Personnel, and a Van Driver / Transportation Support, while managing priorities, supporting overtime needs, and driving accountability across all warehouse and logistics activities.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring active involvement in warehouse operations, inventory transactions, cycle counts, shipping and receiving activities, and team coverage as needed to support business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Warehouse & Logistics team through coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Manage daily Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Control, Logistics, and raw material flow activities.
  • Establish priorities and allocate resources to support customer requirements.
  • Coordinate transportation activities, including support of internal van operations.
  • Manage overtime requirements and staffing coverage based on business needs.
  • Drive inventory accuracy and cycle count compliance.
  • Lead and oversee cycle count execution, inventory reconciliation activities, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Planning, Quality, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams.
    Monitor and improve On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance.
  • Identify and resolve material flow issues impacting production and customer deliveries.
  • Support Oracle transactions, receiving processes, inventory movements, shipping documentation, and FedEx shipping activities.
  • Develop standard work, process stabilization efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse and logistics processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a developing team while driving accountability, consistency, and operational excellence.
  • Maintain accountability for team performance and execution.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain Operations.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • ERP experience (Oracle preferred).
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in Medical Device manufacturing or other highly regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
  • Experience with shipping and receiving transactions, inventory control processes, and cycle count management.
  • Experience utilizing FedEx shipping systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
