Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
The Conferences & Events Manager serves as the Event Logistics Lead for all conferences and church wide (global) events. This role would be responsible for coordinating all event logistics and cross-functional efforts for conferences and global events. This position reports to the Director of Campus Logistics & Events.
CONFERENCES & EVENTS RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the event logistics lead for all conferences and church-wide events.
  • Work with the Event Visionary & Ministry Lead to coordinate event timelines, event meetings and event logistics.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Events Lead Team that will focus on event timelines, event details, event communication, event budget, etc.
  • Serve as the budget Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Global Events budget
  • Create event templates and timelines that can be used for ministry and campus specific events.
  • Build a team of consistent team leads for conferences and global events.
  • Build and lead a Conferences & Events Dream Team by implementing our SERVE Model
  • Manage our Brushfire ticketing system to set up ticket sales, promo codes, seating, etc.
  • Serve as the liaison with the City of Palm Beach Gardens for event permits

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • 3-4 years experience planning and executing events.
  • Experience with project & task management.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and collaboratively with other departments.
  • Highly developed interpersonal communication to provide exceptional care and concern while prioritizing and adjusting to multiple moving parts in a fast paced-setting.
