Job Context

The Senior Manager of Global events will own Simpro Group's key internal and owned events in all geographies. This role requires strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution experience in global events that elevate our brand, build pipeline, and engage our target audience across geos.

What You'll Do

  • Global Event Strategy: Define and execute a global events strategy that encompasses the full lifecycle of event planning and workstreams, including executive buy-in, budget ownership, content creation, brand experience, vendor management, and outcomes.

  • Communication: Create and maintain event plans, timelines and actions that can be shared asynchronously across teams dispersed across various geos

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, product, and executive teams, fostering a culture of collaboration to align event initiatives with the company's broader objectives and drive tangible results

  • Research and Innovation: Leverage internal and external resources to stay on top of event trends, opportunities for scale and efficiency, and event experiences.

  • Budget Strategy: Manage the global events budget, prioritizing event spend and resources based on strategic business needs incorporating key sponsorship inputs.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in leading and managing owned and third party events with a focus on B2B SaaS marketing.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align events with the overall business strategy, customer needs, and sales objectives.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in influencing cross-functional and executive partners, driving for results with vendors/partners, and act as a positive ambassador for the company, upholding values and professionalism in all interactions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Global Perspective: Proven ability to manage events on a global scale, with a deep understanding of regional nuances and how to tailor events for different international markets.

  • Willingness to travel up to 40% to manage event execution.
