Responsibilities

The Global Distribution Manager (GDM) is responsible for representing Fair-Rite within our worldwide distribution network. This role is critical in fostering strong, productive relationships with distribution partners, optimizing sales performance, and driving alignment between distribution, marketing, and sales teams. The GDM serves as the primary liaison between the company and its distribution partnersensuring distributor readiness for product launches, supporting customer satisfaction through our representative network, and driving data-informed decisions to grow our business.

  • Relationship Management - Build and maintain strategic relationships with current distribution partners at both the branch and corporate levels to promote alignment and performance.
  • Distribution Advocacy - Act as the voice of distribution within the organizationcommunicating needs, challenges, and successes internally to improve support and alignment
  • Sales Analysis & Insights - Monitor and analyze sales performance data across distributors; identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities and report findings to sales leadership.
  • New Product Introductions (NPIs) - Partner with product and marketing teams to ensure smooth and effective NPI rollouts, including training, stocking strategies, and messaging.
  • Contract Management - Assist with the negotiation, implementation, and maintenance of distribution contracts.
  • Training & Enablement - Develop and deliver audience appropriate training to distribution partners on products, sales strategies, and company toolsboth virtually and in-person at the branch and corporate levels.
  • Rep Network Interface - Work closely with the external rep network and Fair-Rite Sales Managers to ensure alignment with distribution strategies and contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Marketing Integration - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute co-branded campaigns, promotions, brand recognition, and strategic marketing directives for the channel.
  • Distributor Evaluation - Identify underperforming distributors and potential new partners; recommend and implement strategies to improve.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, distribution, channel management, or marketing preferably in the electronic components or industrial manufacturing space.
