Job description

WAREHOUSE

Thermotec is seeking candidates with material handling or warehouse experience that can handle fragile material. The correct candidate must be customer service oriented and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs. consistently
  • Know how to use a tape measure
  • Some computer knowledge
  • Some customer service experience
  • Pass a pre-employment back ground check
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Pass a pre-employment driving record.

Preferred but not required:

  • Forklift experience
  • Bilingual

This position is responsible for inspecting and assuring orders are complete. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Verify all production
  • Ensure quality of products
  • Mark and report items with defects such as cracks, chips, scratches, or unacceptable finishes
  • Read work orders to determine dimensions, cutting locations, and quantities
  • Stack items and load them on racks, carts or onto trucks
  • Clean and organize work area
  • Help walk-in customers
  • Type tickets for new orders
