Senior IT Project Manager - SAP Sales and Service Cloud

Position Summary

Senior IT Project Manager to manage the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation for enterprise IT initiatives at a regulated electric and gas utility. Accountable for meeting agreed scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures. Develops the project plan and drives project milestones; establishes an effective communication plan with the project team and key stakeholders; provides day-to-day direction to project resources; and ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports, and budgets. The current assignment supports enhancements to a recently deployed SAP Sales and Service Cloud platform and extension of that platform to additional user communities across the enterprise, delivered iteratively — so the role also owns demand intake, backlog prioritization, and release sequencing.

Required Skills

• Utilities domain experience — IT project delivery for a regulated electric, gas, or combination utility, with working knowledge of the utility customer landscape
• SAP Sales and Service Cloud experience — hands-on project delivery on the platform, including implementation, enhancement, or user community rollout
• 8+ years of IT project management experience, including 5+ years owning enterprise application projects end to end
• Demonstrated accountability for scope, cost, schedule, and quality on projects of comparable size and complexity
• Experience managing iterative or hybrid Agile delivery, including pipeline management, backlog prioritization, and release planning
• Ability to provide day-to-day direction to cross-functional teams spanning business users, internal IT, and third-party system integrators
• Structured change management and change control within a governed, compliance-sensitive environment
• Preparation and ownership of project documentation, status reporting, and budget tracking
• Specialized proficiency with MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills
