Description
Why Farallon?
As a 100% employee-owned firm, Farallon is built on shared purpose and long-term commitment. Our people are the reason clients trust us with their most complex environmental challenges-from high-stakes remediation projects to regulatory negotiations that shape communities. When you join Farallon, you join a team of scientists and engineers who take pride in delivering technically sound, defensible, and practical solutions.

  • Collaborate with data teams to find creative ways to depict environmental and regulatory data.
  • Empower our field staff by managing and optimizing mobile data collection tools like ArcGIS Field Maps and Survey123.
  • Move beyond "standard" maps. You will use Adobe Illustrator to enhance graphics for print, digital, and interactive formats.
  • Interpret construction drawings and environmental maps to support routine project work and complex mediation.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for both map enhancements and/or graphics creation from scratch.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and open-source GIS.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and maps.
  • Computer skills including in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Responsive and able to handle context or project changes multiple times a day.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines and budgets.

Bonus Skills
  • General understanding of geology, hydrogeology, or environmental chemistry helps you "speak the language" or our project teams.
