We are seeking a skilled OSP Designer I to join our team. The job involves interpreting customer-provided route proposals and incorporating them into Outside Plant (OSP) designs. The candidate will acquire field data for OSP design, import the collected data into the design, and associate the features correctly within AutoCAD to create construction and permitting drawings. The role requires determining construction unit descriptions and completing the design of OSP projects, including aerial, buried, and underground, using AutoCAD, Adobe, GIS, and Excel. The candidate will complete construction unit and material summaries and assist with ROW permitting and submittals. They will ensure all deliverable documents are complete at project handoff. Additionally, the candidate will be introduced to fiber/copper counts and utilize different customer software.
