Giants Baseball & Softball Camps Coach/Counselor

Giants Baseball Camps is now hiring Coaches for our summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout the Bay Area.

Giants Summer Camps is looking for summer camp coaches in the Bay Area who are energetic, positive, and who love to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions - all while having a great time! We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide the leadership that will help our campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability.

We have a number of different positions available for our baseball and softball camps - from Coach to Site Director - and we need a variety of coaching skill levels to enhance the experience for ages 4 through 13.

We are looking for team members who:

  • Have experience working with children ages 4-13

  • Have experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher

  • Have a passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way

  • Are able to connect with children both one-on-one and in a group setting

  • Lead by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude

  • Are dependable and reliable; someone we can count on to be there, no matter what.

  • Know how to have a lot of fun!!

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers

  • Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp

  • Execute San Francisco Giants Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director

  • Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games

  • Highlight teachable moments for campers to learn and grow from

  • Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Giants Baseball Camps stellar reputation

Qualifications for all coaching positions:

  • Be prepared to make a commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day, preferably for a minimum 3-5 week commitment
    • Giants Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026

  • Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own

  • Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening

  • San Mateo - Sea Cloud Park

  • Los Altos Hills - Purissima Park

  • Burlingame - Bayside Park

  • San Carlos - Highlands Park

  • San Jose - Herman Intermediate School

Our Interview Process:

Compensation:

  • Professional Educator: $25.00/hour (please note you must have at least 1 school year of paid teaching experience and/or provide proof of teaching certification in order to be eligible for this hourly wage).

  • Coach: $21.00/hour (please note you must have at least 2 years ofprofessional coaching experience in baseball or softball or another sport in order to be eligible for this hourly wage).

  • College Student/Recent Graduate:$19.50/hour
