Position: part-time/seasonal (30-40 hours per week)

About the Team:

Giants Authentics is the San Francisco Giants Official Retailer of MLB Authenticated memorabilia. The Giants Authentics team operates within the Giants retail department and works with the Giants home clubhouse, as well as MLB Authenticators, to collect, authenticate, and sell authentic Giants memorabilia. We are a small team of experienced collectors and baseball enthusiasts who work together to maintain one of the MLB's premier Authentics programs, both in-store and online. Above all, Giants Authentics provides exceptional customer service and premium baseball memorabilia to the MLB fanbase around the world.

About the Role:

Giants Authentics is looking for a part-time sales associate/team member. The job will include gameday sales and customer service in the Giants Authentics storefront, as well as non-gameday shifts at our offsite retail warehouse. As a member of our team, you will be expected to perform tasks such as helping to manage, catalog and sell game-used and autographed memorabilia in-store, by phone/email, and through our online e-shop. Non-gameday tasks include direct-to-consumer sales and inventory management at our offsite retail warehouse. A basic knowledge of baseball is required and a general interest in the world of sports is heavily encouraged by all prospective applicants. This position is a great opportunity to establish a relationship with a historic MLB franchise and the world of professional sports. If you enjoy being around baseball, engaging in a diverse fanbase, and offering friendly service with a smile then this is the position for you.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School education or equivalent.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for periods more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule on gamedays
$19.18 - $19.18 an hour
At the San Francisco Giants, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The hourly rate for this position will be $19.18/hour
