Get Well Counseling Center LTD is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist specializing in trauma-informed care to join our dedicated team. This position is fully remote, offering flexibility and work-life balance while ensuring that our patients receive the care they need. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive care. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify the most appropriate evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide patients through their healing journeys.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and promoting emotional healing and resilience.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients with complex needs.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to patients during trauma-related emergencies to ensure their safety and emotional stability.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to foster support systems.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards to uphold a high level of professional integrity.
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities aimed at enhancing the quality of trauma-informed care.
• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to continuously improve clinical practices and patient outcomes.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced trauma, including various backgrounds and circumstances. You will provide care to patients struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges stemming from traumatic experiences. Your empathetic approach will help build trust and create a safe space for patients to express their feelings and work toward healing.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health therapy, preferably in a trauma-focused setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and approaches to resilience-building.
• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, with a solid understanding of evidence-based practices in the field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, especially in high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant office software for maintaining patient documentation.
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary team.

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma therapy, group facilitation, or crisis intervention are strongly preferred. Having expertise in specific trauma-focused modalities such as EMDR or TF-CBT will be viewed favorably as it aligns with our clinic's therapeutic approach.
