German hospitality refers to the culture and practices of welcoming and serving guests in Germany, whether in hotels, restaurants, or private settings. It is characterized by professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail, with a strong emphasis on quality service and customer satisfaction. In the German hospitality industry, guests can expect cleanliness, punctuality, and a warm but respectful approach. The sector includes roles in hotels, restaurants, event management, and tourism. German hospitality is also known for upholding traditions while embracing innovation to meet the needs of international visitors.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in German hospitality, and why are they important?

To excel in German Hospitality, you need a solid understanding of hospitality management principles, fluency in German and English, and relevant experience or education in the field. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), reservation platforms, and industry certifications such as the IHK Fachkraft im Gastgewerbe can be highly beneficial. Throughout our interview process, you’ll have the chance to demonstrate how you use AI to learn, iterate, and amplify your impact. If you’re excited to be part of a team that’s leading the way in AI-powered collaboration, we’d love to meet you.

Cvent is seeking a UK-based Team Lead to own and execute integrated field marketing initiatives for the DACH region across the full funnel, while also supporting strategic European Hospitality Cloud programmes. This role will be responsible for end-to-end campaign planning and execution across demand generation, webinar programmes, partner marketing, content localisation, and event delivery. The position involves reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager based in India and collaborating closely with counterparts in India and the US.

The position will play a critical role in driving awareness, engagement, and pipeline across the DACH market, while also contributing to broader European initiatives for the Hospitality Cloud business. The successful candidate will work closely with sales, digital, content, product marketing, customer marketing, external partners, freelance writers, and translation agencies to deliver impactful regional programmes.

In This Role, You Will::
  • DACH Field Marketing Strategy: Lead end-to-end field marketing strategy and execution for the DACH region, ensuring alignment to business goals, regional sales priorities, and Hospitality Cloud growth objectives.
  • Campaign Execution: Serve as the German-language marketing specialist, owning regional campaign activity including website updates, messaging, webinar promotion, and localised content across channels.
  • Digital Content & Localisation: Maintain DACH website content and manage translation agencies and freelancers to localise campaigns, blogs, and long-form assets. Develop German-language content including nurture copy, landing pages, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Webinar Programme Management: Own the planning and execution of German and English webinars across the funnel, including stakeholder coordination, campaign execution, and performance tracking.
  • Partner Marketing: Build and manage relationships with German hospitality partners to identify co-marketing opportunities and support regional demand generation.
  • Conferences & Tradeshows: Leading the annual Cvent Accelerate conference end to end (content planning, speaker management, promotion, and onsite execution) and providing onsite support for Cvent CONNECT Europe, including Innovation Pavilion activations, interview testimonials, and audience engagement.
  • Unique Venue Segment Marketing: Lead nurture programmes for the Unique Venue segment, including webinars, digital promotions, and close collaboration with the sales team.
  • Performance Tracking & AI-Assisted Execution: Track, measure, and report on programme performance, using insights to optimise future activity. Integrate AI tools into content creation, localisation, and campaign optimisation to drive efficiency and improve output quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Here's What You Need::
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of marketing experience, preferably in B2B field marketing, demand generation, or integrated campaign roles.
  • Fluent German and strong English language skills, with the ability to create, review, and refine German-language marketing content.
  • Experience managing regional marketing programmes across Europe, ideally with direct ownership of DACH markets.
  • Experience delivering webinars, nurture campaigns, digital promotions, and in-person or hybrid events.
  • Experience working with agencies, freelancers, and cross-functional internal teams in a matrixed organisation.
  • Strong project management and campaign execution skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, inbound and outbound campaign techniques, webinar best practices, and content localisation processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with regional sales teams and senior internal partners.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for marketing execution, including content generation, translation support, and campaign optimisation. Comfortable experimenting with and adopting new tools to improve efficiency.
Desirable
  • Understanding of the hospitality industry, hotel technology, or venue sourcing landscape.
  • Experience supporting regional conferences or marquee customer/prospect events.
  • Experience working on localisation and translation workflows for European markets.
  • Experience contributing to pipeline generation and sales enablement through integrated marketing programmes.
