Department/Specialty: Outreach Lab Operations

Schedule: Full Time | Day Shift

• Ensure Diagnostic Accuracy: Collect and process blood samples, perform accessioning, and prepare specimens for timely laboratory testing while strictly adhering to safety and infection control standards.

• Maintain Peak Laboratory Operations: Set up, clean, and sterilize laboratory equipment and workspaces to ensure a safe environment and uninterrupted diagnostic workflows.

• Streamline Patient Data & Orders: Manage specimen records, resolve duplicate orders, and process test additions efficiently to guarantee seamless care delivery and data integrity.

• Deliver Administrative Excellence: Handle key laboratory support functions-including patient registration data, phone inquiries, and test order entries-to maintain seamless team communication and exceptional service quality.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Phlebotomy credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) preferred.
• Phlebotomy Tech preferred.
• Medical Laboratory Assistant credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) preferred.
• Medical Laboratory Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) preferred.
• Tech credentialed from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians preferred. All issuing authorities accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
