Job Description

The Opportunity: 

As a AI Product Manager within Mattel's Office of AI, you will play a critical role in identifying, building, and scaling enterprise AI products and capabilities that drive measurable business impact across the organization.

You will work across functions including Commercial, Finance and Legal teams to bring AI-powered solutions from concept to deployment. This role requires someone who can navigate ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders, connect emerging AI technologies to real business value, and drive execution across a highly matrixed enterprise environment.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

AI Product Strategy & Vision

  • Help define and execute AI product strategy aligned to business priorities and OOAI objectives
  • Identify high-value AI opportunities across global business functions
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and vendors to determine strategic fit
  • Translate AI trends and innovations into scalable enterprise capabilities and business outcomes
  • Develop product roadmaps that balance innovation, feasibility, governance, and user adoption

Product Leadership & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end AI product lifecycle management from discovery and prioritization through launch and scale
  • Define product requirements, user journeys, KPIs, success metrics, and experimentation frameworks
  • Drive agile execution and iterative delivery approaches for AI initiatives
  • Ensure solutions are interoperable, scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted partner across business, technology, legal, privacy, and security organizations
  • Work closely with OOAI Business and Technical stakeholders to prioritize and advance AI opportunities
  • Facilitate alignment between executive stakeholders and implementation teams

Responsible AI & Governance

  • Champion responsible AI principles including transparency, privacy, security, and protection of intellectual property
  • Ensure AI products comply with Mattel's AI frameworks, governance standards, and enterprise policies
  • Help operationalize AI best practices and scalable governance models

Adoption & Organizational Enablement

  • Drive user-centric AI experiences that improve productivity and employee engagement
  • Support AI literacy, enablement, and change management initiatives across the enterprise
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and responsible innovation
Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, or Agentic AI.
  • Proven track record launching and scaling AI products in complex enterprise environments
  • Ability to write detailed product requirements for AI-powered workflows, APIs, integrations, and platform capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively across executive and operational audiences
  • Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI, privacy, security, and compliance considerations
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in matrixed organizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in enterprise AI transformation or innovation organizations
  • Deep understanding of AI technology stacks such as OpenAI APIs, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, LangChain, vector databases, and workflow orchestration tools
  • Familiarity with AI workflow automation, knowledge management, or productivity platforms
  • Experience evaluating and operationalizing enterprise AI platforms, foundation models, and emerging AI technologies for scalability, security, interoperability, and business value
  • Strong understanding of LLM performance optimization including token efficiency, inference cost management, context window strategies, and model utilization optimization
  • Experience defining and implementing AI observability, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks
  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field preferred
  • Passion for emerging technologies, innovation, and creative problem solving
