(Full-time, 40 hours/week)

Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is a regional community health center covering a thirty seven town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich and Putnam.ย  Our dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental and behavioral health care, as well as care coordination and community outreach. In addition to our main facilities, we offer mobile programs and School Based Health Centers.

Location: Putnam, CTย ย (Medical Department)

JOB SUMMARY:ย Major job duties include greeting patients, answering phone, scheduling appointments, obtaining information from patients, posting procedures, and collecting fees. Must provide excellent customer service and work as a team with multidisciplinary team including dental, medical, health support, and community program staff.

Qualifications

Qualifications:ย 

  • High school diploma, post-secondary school education preferred.
  • Typing and computer skills essential.
  • Familiarity with medical/dental terminology and billing procedures is necessary; experience in medical/dental office is helpful.ย 
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to handle multi-tasking in a fast paced environment.ย 

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Rate: $18.15/hour
