Position Overview
  • The HR Generalist plays an integral role in supporting the HR function within their assigned business division. This role supports the division through a blend of talent acquisition, people program management, and a focus on delivering a strong employee experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-oriented, and approaches their work with an understanding of how HR directly supports the goals of the business. This role reports directly to the People Team Business Partner and will work closely with the broader People Team.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
    • Actively support the full-cycle recruiting process for the division, including job posting, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and coordination with hiring managers
    • Serve as a cultural interviewer, representing Catamount's values throughout the candidate experience
    • Assist with administering pre-employment assessments and vetting employee referrals
    • Manage the onboarding experience for the business unit's new hires, including on-site coordination, maintaining and tracking onboarding plans, and in coordination with the People Team Coordinator ensuring a smooth transition from offer to day one
  • Internship Program Support
    • Serve as the point of contact for the division's internship program participation, supporting the end-to-end experience from career fair recruitment through offboarding
    • Coordinate intern interviews, programming, and check in/feedback processes
    • Participate in intern interviews and offer feedback and recommendations to local intern champions
  • Culture & Engagement
    • Act as a culture driver within the division, actively promoting and embodying Catamount's core values and One Company culture
    • Support the planning and execution of cultural initiatives, recognition programs, and employee engagement activities
    • Collaborate with the broader People Team on division-specific and company-wide culture efforts
    • Serve as a resource for employees seeking to get involved in culture and community initiatives
  • HR Administration & Program Support
    • Provide general HR administrative support including keeping information up to date in relevant systems
    • Assist People Team Business Partner in executing People programs and initiatives across the division
    • Support coordination of swag, gifting, and employee recognition efforts for the division

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in an HR or recruiting role; this role will require prioritization of recruitment during peak seasons
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in pursuing HR certification preferred

Compensation:
