Job description

We’re currently seeking a General Manager to join our team!

This role will work closely with our Operations leadership team and leverage experience in people and business management. This position is an integral part of driving culture, values, and operating standards while building a strong team and driving results.  

What you will do:

  • Complete Mister Car Wash’s Operations Leadership Program, including on-the-job training and online course work, with oversight and mentorship from the Certified Trainer
  • Work closely with store management and team members to ensure the location consistently delivers an exceptional customer experience and a clean, dry, and shiny car
  • Provide training, onboarding, and performance evaluations for store management and team members in partnership with the Certified Trainer
  • Monitor daily operations and maintain Mister Car Wash’s brand standards of quality, speed, throughput, facility cleanliness, and customer service
  • Execute administrative duties, including financial reviews, shift schedules, and expense reports (e.g., labor, and chemical consumption), with guidance from the Certified Trainer
  • Master preventative maintenance with instruction provided by the Certified Trainer and the Facilities Maintenance Team

  • 3 years plus of leadership experience, ideally as the executive decision-maker of a business
  • Strong teaching, mentoring, and coaching skills
  • Outstanding emotional intelligence coupled with a calm and authoritative presence
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with a high-level of attention to detail
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to strategize and adjust priorities as needed to best serve the needs of the business
  • Able to stand, squat, kneel, sit, walk up and down stairs, and remain mobile for long hours
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. to the waist, 25 lbs. to the chest, and 15 lbs. above the head
