Job description

Sörbo Products, General Manager
About The Opportunity
World Enterprise is the parent company behind three brands in the professional window cleaning industry: Window Cleaning Resource (WCR), XERO, and Sörbo. We recently acquired Sörbo, and we are moving the operation from California to our York facility. We are hiring a General Manager to take full ownership of the brand, lead the transition, and build Sörbo into a meaningful growth engine within the World Enterprise portfolio.
This is a builder's role. You will own the brand end-to-end, from operations to sales to product development. You will report directly to the CEO and have the autonomy to make decisions, set strategy, and run Sörbo as if it were your own.
What You Will Own
Lead the relocation. Move Sörbo from California to our York facility. Manage inventory transfers, vendor transitions, operational setup, and timelines. Get us across the finish line by year's end with the team, the customers, and the catalog intact.
Build the distributor channel. Drive adoption of our distributor portal across the existing base, with a structured onboarding program that tracks who is active, who is stalled, and why. Then go win new partners through trade shows, outreach, referrals, and regional coverage mapping. This is a sales function with a pipeline, targets, and weekly reporting.
Own the customer relationship. Be the face of Sörbo to the B2B channel. Every inbound distributor question, complaint, pricing issue, or order escalation runs through you. Distributors should always know who to call.
Hit the number. Work directly with the CEO to set annual revenue targets by distributor, region, and product category, and execute against them.
Run the catalog. Know the full Sörbo product line cold. Identify slow movers, pricing opportunities, and assortment gaps. Recommend pricing, bundling, and promotions. Flag inventory or lead time issues before they reach a customer.
Drive new product development. Identify market gaps, gather distributor and end user input, and bring forward concepts with a clear business case. Manage each product from concept through launch alongside production, purchasing, and marketing.
Build the operating dashboard. Establish Sörbo specific KPIs covering distributor count, active versus dormant accounts, monthly and quarterly revenue, new distributor pipeline, and portal adoption. Run the brand on data.
Manage inventory health. Partner with supply chain and warehouse to keep SKUs in stock, reorder points dialed in, and the York operation running efficiently. Flag slow moving or at risk inventory early.
Plan the next three years. Look beyond the day to day. Identify where Sörbo can expand: new product categories, new geographies, new distributor verticals. Build a strategic roadmap tied to World Enterprise's broader growth goals.
Be the brand's early warning system. Systematically collect feedback from distributors and end users across every channel. Spot recurring themes in quality, pricing, packaging, or service, and route them inside the building with urgency.
Operate the day to day. Monitor and process portal orders, invoicing, picking, freight communication, and tracking entry into SellerCloud. Manage B2B app tiers, discount levels, case quantities, MOQs, and store locks. The brand runs because you make it run.
What we are looking for
  • A track record running a brand, a business unit, or a meaningful product line, ideally in B2B distribution.
  • Experience building and managing a distributor or dealer network. You know what it takes to win, retain, and grow channel partners.
  • Commercial instinct. You can read a P&L, set a price, and know when to push volume versus margin.
  • Operational fluency across inventory, purchasing, fulfillment, and product development. You do not need to be the expert in every. function, but you need to be credible in all of them.
  • New product development experience, from concept through launch.
  • Comfort with KPIs, dashboards, and reporting cadences.
  • A bias toward action. This role rewards people who own outcomes and move quickly.

Why World Enterprises
We are a fast growing, founder led company in the professional window cleaning space. Our portfolio includes WCR, the leading distributor of window cleaning supplies in North America, and XERO, our proprietary brand and our top revenue driver. Sörbo is our newest addition, and the GM who steps in now will shape what this brand becomes for years to come.
If you want to run a brand, build a team, and see your decisions show up directly in the numbers, let's talk.
