Cleaner – Industrial Technician  - IFM Quality & Technician

 

Join Our Team as an Integrated Facility Management (IFM) Quality & Finishing Technician

Competitive Pay: This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $18.00/hr. to $20.00/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cleaner – Industrial Technician  - IFM Quality & Technician to provide repair, cleaning, and preventative maintenance services for customer equipment at industrial and commercial facilities.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with experience in industrial Cleaning, commercial HVAC systems, air quality, filtration, and equipment maintenance who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working directly with customers, and supporting high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair customer equipment in the field
  • Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, and servicing of industrial and commercial systems
  • Lead industrial paint, finishing, filtration, HVAC, and indoor air quality maintenance projects
  • Provide technical training and support for customers and technicians
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding equipment repairs and service needs
  • Document service work and maintain accurate service reports in company systems
  • Maintain and test service equipment and tools before and after use
  • Assist with special projects and technical service initiatives
  • Support product demonstrations and customer training both in the lab and in the field
  • Participate in establishing service and maintenance contracts
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Required Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of  field service experience
  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience disassembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals, safety procedures, and service documentation

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 5%
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
  • Ability to learn company service systems and maintain equipment records
  • Must be able to work in environments that may include:
  • Paint and solvent odors
  • Moving mechanical parts
  • Electrical equipment
  • Airborne particles or chemicals

Certifications

  • Mold and duct cleaning certifications preferred
  • Ability to obtain certifications from primary vendors within 6 months (Graco, GEMA, Fanuc, Sames, CFT, etc.)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk, climb, stand, stoop, kneel, and bend regularly
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
