We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our EM team in Geismar, LA

The Logistics Coordinator is a key role as a liaison between supply chain, logistics and operations teams. You will be responsible for setting and communicating the schedule for all Finished Goods and Raw Material loading/unloading activities, performing transactions within SAP, coordinating raw materials and scheduling movements for finish goods and raw material at Geismar, LA.

  • Providing technical and administrative and support for shipping execution. Maintaining and improving processes and product quality, properly prioritizing and maintaining plant operation and customer deliveries.
  • Providing customer support for shipping related issues including interactions with third party logistics groups such as carriers, terminals, etc.
  • Following Client accounting controls for SAP inventory adjustments related to reconciliations and disposals,
  • while coordinating counting efforts bi-monthly. Orders (STOs), adjusting for production schedules and market conditions.
  • Performing cycle counts and audits of inventory to ensure accuracy, investigating discrepancies, and
  • communicating major issues to stakeholders.Utilizing tools like YPRESCHD, VLO60, and RISLA to coordinate commercial shipments and Stock Transferinventory accuracy, cycle counting, and shipping cost optimization..
