Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine with a minimum of 3 years of ultrasound experience and required experience with twins and triplets.

Details
  • Position is based in a Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) unit with 7 ultrasound rooms
  • High-risk pregnant patient population, ages 16–50, including twins and triplets
  • 6 MFM sonographers on shift at a time
  • Procedures include amniocentesis, CVS, KCL guidance, detailed anatomy scans, and Nuchal Translucency scans
  • Equipment includes GE Ultrasound machine, Trophon HLD unit, and GE Viewpoint application
  • 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
  • Schedule rotates 3 or 4 shifts per week
  • Float to CMFM-Gryzmish 7 unit may be required
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of ultrasound experience required
  • Experience with twins and triplets is required
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification required
  • ARDMS certification in OB/GYN required
  • Fetal echo certification preferred
  • MA license required if applicable
  • COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions accepted)
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season (medical exemptions accepted)
Additional Information
  • Specialization in high-risk MFM sonography, including detailed anatomy scans, Nuchal Translucency scans, and multi-fetal pregnancies
  • Orientation is 2–3 days
  • Any color scrubs are acceptable
  • All previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have a 6+ month break before being considered
  • Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Parking in the area may cost up to $43/day; other transportation options may be available upon inquiry
