Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist - OB/GYN - Days - Allen
Join the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sonography team and play an essential role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging for obstetric and gynecologic patients. In this position, you will perform all aspects of ultrasound image acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving while ensuring a safe, supportive, and compassionate experience for every patient.
As a Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist, you'll work alongside a collaborative team of Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists dedicated to clinical excellence and exceptional patient care. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced sonographer who is passionate about women's health and interested in expanding their expertise within a specialized Maternal-Fetal Medicine environment.
Location: 5141 Broadway (at 220th Street), New York, NY 10034
Schedule: This per diem opportunity provides coverage as needed during operating hours, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. Scheduled days will vary based on departmental staffing needs.
Preferred Criteria
  • Completion of at least two years of college coursework
  • Minimum of one year of diagnostic ultrasound experience
  • Previous experience working as an Ultrasound Technologist within an acute care or hospital environment
  • Experience in OB/GYN imaging
  • Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment
Required Criteria
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of a one year approved ultrasound program
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Sonography) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification in appropriate clinical specialty
