Job Description:

The Role:

Entegris is currently seeking a Quality Lab Scientist II on 2nd shift, 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM Thursday to Sunday.

The Membrane Quality team supports the manufacturing of advanced filtration membrane products used in semiconductor applications. This position will be based in our Bedford, MA facility. the Quality Lab Scientist IIis responsible forQuality Assurance testing and will provide analytical support for all manufacturing processes, including incoming material inspections, in-process production key parameter testing, final product releasing, V&Q projects, and plant qualityas well as R&Dtesting requests. The QAscientistwill prepareandtest samples and GCMS, GCFID, HPLC, ASE, UV-VIS, titration, Instronetcandreport data usingLIMS.

What You'll Do:

Ensure a Safe Working Environment

  • Consistently uphold a clean and safe work environment.

  • Ensure the safety of co-workers and visitors at all times.

  • Adhere to the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Execute all duties in a safe manner, following established safety procedures without exception.

  • Stay vigilant for potential hazards, promptly communicate any concerns to leadership, and recommend safer alternatives when necessary.

  • Participate in safety training sessions asrequired.

Technical Support and Quality Assurance

  • Handle customer requests appropriately andin a timely manner

  • Conduct all QA testing of UPE products from manufacturing.

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) for conducting required tests.

  • Set up analytical standards, reagent mixes and/or deliver production chemicals used intestingprocess.

  • Analyze and interpret test data,maintaindocumentation of testoperationsand ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Propose continuous improvementideas, testing proceduresfor efficiency improvements,and executetasks to implement changesby presenting in MOC meetings

  • Keeplab documents, such as SOP, SDS, COA, etc.update to dateandchemical inventory/ stock up to date

  • Order suppliespromptlyto prevent any shortages

Ensure proper running of all laboratory equipment (GCMS, GCFID, HPLC, LC-MS, ASE extractors, Instron, etc.)

  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot testing equipment.

  • Regularly verify equipment performance using Long-Term Stability SQC charting

Ensure full compliance with Entegris Quality requirements

  • Execute Out-of-Control Action Plans (OCAP) and implementation of corrective actions

  • Remove anddispose ofwaste chemicalsin accordance withcompanyestablishedsafety procedures.

  • Bachelor'sdegreesin Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, MaterialScienceor equivalent degrees in science

  • Experience withchemistry laband hands-on experience with GCMS, LC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and other analytical tools
