This position assists in the creation of innovative solutions and is a liaison for faculty and staff for the incorporation of surgical simulation into the training for students, residents and healthcare professionals.
This position will provide operational support of facilities, activities, and resources for simulation, clinical skills and other entities utilizing the center. This includes providing technical and hands-on support for surgical simulation session preparation (human tissue, equipment, venue, etc.) and delivery.
Participates and supports faculty and staff research activities focused on educational and clinical outcomes. This position will also support faculty and staff presentation and publications by linking them to data captured from the simulation training sessions.

Experience providing instruction, training, education, direct patient care and/or experience in a surgical environment.
Background (2 years) in previous simulation or training environment.
Support role in simulation lab or comparable training facility position.
Experience in supporting instructional activities, preferable in health science education or higher education setting.
Preferred License: Yes If yes, what is the preferred licensure/certification?:
Healthcare licensure (i.e. RN, EMS, etc). Surgical certifications (CST, CSFA, TS-A, CSA, CNOR) are highly desirable.
