In this role you will oversee the Control and Reporting requirements for the Advertising & Marketing and Coupon Foods Teams. This A&M Control team focuses on supporting our marketing organization and provides control expertise, while learning how Foods marketing funds are allocated between brands, customers, and events.

This is a hybrid role based in our Plano, TX office


Responsibilities
  • Oversee all Period Close Activities for A&M and Coupons
  • Oversee the Periodic Balance Sheet reconciliations for A&M and Coupons, and provide accounting expertise on marketing agreements
  • Oversee and review all Corporate Quarterly and Annual Submissions around A&M and Coupons spend, which are utilized in PepsiCo’s SEC filings
  • Oversee and approve Black Swan annual reporting on all A&M Spend
  • Lead the partnership on all required KPMG requirements on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Lead team who manages all A&M Brand and Customer budgets and perform period A&M reporting
  • Lead oversight for budget meetings with marketing personnel at all levels
  • Enforce compliance of PepsiCo policies and SOX Control requirements
  • Leverage technology to implement control process efficiencies

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $123,500 - $206,750.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • CPA required
  • 10+ years of accounting experience
  • 3+ years of indirect or direct management experience 
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Public accounting experience with Big 4 firm strongly preferred
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications
  • Experience with SAP/S4 Hana preferred
  • Motivated individual capable of working independently to achieve ambitious goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management and tell a ‘story’ based on findings
  • Results-oriented with ability to initiate and lead projects to completion
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility, agility, and resilience
  • Team player with ability to work with a variety of internal and external clients in a consultative role, and establish and maintain productive relationships
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, working on multiple deliverables in a tight timeline
