Job Description:
1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science Information Systems with JavaJ2EESQLHTML - Oracle Database
2. 3-7 years experience in system development and programming. (preferable to have Websphere experience)
3. Demonstrated success and ability to work and contribute effectively as a member in a dynamic team-structure environment
• Create API's for MAGIC, Writing Java Applications, split for GAR and GIPs, Core Java application w/Rest
• J2EE with teams focused on backend and getting info from database, some UI.
• API's are going to be Restful and Front-ends are web based with JS, JSP bootstrap, jqueery
• Database is Oracle, JDBC to access it.
• OLTP organized database
• Move to Java 8 from Java 6 and 80% through that migration and that is to Maven. Moving from IBM something
• Headaches cause by build transitions.
• One Micro-service using Spring-boot framework
• Future move to more micro-service base
• Monolith, EJB's, JFS, Serverlet stack
• JMS provider is websphere app server for the monolith
• No Webshpere commerce
• Testing, JUNIT, Cucumber, Selenium
