Job Summary:
SciPlay is a leading developer and publisher of digital games on mobile and web platforms. The Director of Monetization is responsible for driving revenue growth and optimizing player experience across all monetization touchpoints for Jackpot Party, focusing on player behavior and free-to-play monetization strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Monetization Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive monetization strategy that aligns with the overall game vision and business objectives.
• Event Scheduling & Design: Oversee the creation, implementation, and performance of in-game events, ensuring they maximize player engagement and revenue.
• Store Optimization: Lead the daily strategy for the in-game store, including pricing, promotions, and feature enhancements to meet performance goals.
• Live Operations: Manage and optimize time-sensitive features, such as slots and events, through performance analysis and data-driven adjustments.
• Player-Centric Focus: Understand and respond to player behavior and preferences to create monetization strategies that feel rewarding and fair.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Analytics, Product Design, and Economy teams to align monetization initiatives with game systems and player experience goals.
• Forecasting and Reporting: Oversee daily and hourly revenue forecasting, identify performance trends, and adjust strategies in real-time to meet targets.
• VIP and Marketing Integration: Partner with Marketing and Customer Support teams to enhance VIP programs and drive player retention through tailored offerings.
• Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing monetization team, fostering innovation and excellence in execution.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Game Development, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in monetization, live operations, or product management in the gaming industry, preferably in the Social Casino or free-to-play space.
• Proven success in implementing effective monetization strategies that balance player experience and revenue growth.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with expertise in using data to inform decision-making.
• Expertise in pricing, promotions, and A/B testing.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced live operations environment.
• Deep understanding of player psychology, retention strategies, and free-to-play monetization models.
Preferred:
• Experience with predictive modeling and performance forecasting.
• Knowledge of game economy design and its interplay with monetization.
• Familiarity with tools like Tableau, SQL, or similar data analysis platforms.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
