Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE: GAME MANAGER

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Sale, control, and reporting of admission tickets.  The Athletic Director handles Student/Adult Activity tickets.
  2. Rotate with Athletic Director all general supervision and responsibility, including opening, closing and set-up of gymnasium/field for athletic events.
  3. Physical arrangements at all playing fields (field preparations, clean-up and maintenance) shall be the responsibility of the Superintendent of the Buildings and Grounds.

Specific Tasks Include:

  1. Opening the ticket booth after picking up moneybox and tickets from the Athletic Director's office.
  2. Making certain that scoring tables, PA system, and scoreboard controls are set up.
  3. Making certain that bleachers are pulled out.
  4. Making certain floor and seats have been dusted by the janitorial staff.
  5. Having officials sign game sheets.
  6. Having other workers sign game sheets for payroll.
  7. Remaining on campus throughout the events (covering for all events going on simultaneously at different sites) on a rotating basis with Athletic Director.
  8. Collecting gate receipts for deposit and give to the Athletic Director.
