Position Overview

The Aberdeen IronBirds are seeking energetic and outgoing individuals to join our Flight Crew for the upcoming season. The Flight Crew serves as the team's inpark entertainment group, playing a key role in creating an exciting and memorable gameday experience for our fans.

Flight Crew members engage with fans before, during, and after IronBirds games through interactive skits, promotions, and onfield activities. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable performing in front of large crowds, enjoy creating highenergy experiences, and thrive in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment. Success in this role is measured not by the final score, but by the atmosphere you help create and the memories fans take home.

 

Responsibilities

  • Interact, entertain, and communicate with fans
  • Assist in management of game entertainment props and mascot components
  • Help develop new and interesting skits and features for game day entertainment
  • Participate during each game as an enthusiastic member of the Flight Crew

 

Qualifications

  • Previous entertainment experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High-energy personality
  • Ability and willingness to entertain IronBirds fans during various parts of each IronBirds' game

 

Preferred

  • Knowledge of baseball  
  • Performance skills (dancing, singing, comedy)

Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work long hours and weekends
  • Routinely exposed to extreme hot/cold weather conditions
