The North Carolina Courage, which plays in the National Women's Soccer League, is seeking part-time, seasonal Game Day Staff. This position will serve to create a successful fan experience for the NC Courage by being a customer service agent for the in-game fan experience and serving the patrons attending Courage events at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park to help maintain a fan-friendly, safe, and exciting environment, with the overall goal of growing and strengthening the Club's connection with our fan base. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Game Day Staff is split into a variety of positions: Ushers, Ticket Scanners, Parking, and Ops Crew.
  • The Parking Staff is responsible for the set-up and tear down of the parking areas for Courage events at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park; including but not limited to cones and signage. Staff will then work as attendants throughout the time the lot is open to direct cars to the correct lots and spaces, ensuring that cars are parked efficiently to maximize lot usage.
  • The Game Day Ops Crew is responsible for the set-up and tear down of the stadium for Courage events held at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park; including but not limited to tables, chairs, tents, staging equipment, barricades, field equipment, and other related elements.
  • Ushers and ticket scanners are responsible for interacting with and providing customer service to fans upon arrival and throughout the game day. Ticket scanners must scan tickets to efficiently run ingress through the gates on game days, and ushers should be aware of the happenings around their stationed post on game day in order to provide customer service as needed to fans.
  • All employees must practice safe work habits to ensure event production on game days is as efficient and safe as possible.
  • Game Day Staff will provide feedback in an efficient way to leadership, including but not limited to entry and exit efficiency, seat assignment, ticket sales, merch sales, concessions, janitorial services, equipment management, stadium structure, etc. to ensure game day improvements throughout the season.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.
  • Must be able to work at least 80% of home games for the NC Courage throughout the 2026 season.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, fans, and other office staff.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interactions with fans to ensure they are maximizing their game day experience enjoyment.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met or may be encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The job requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting/pushing more than 50 pounds or exerting heavy force, in a wide disparity or environmental conditions. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, etc.
