What You'll Do

  • Coordinate all aspects of home athletic event operations, ensuring a first-class game day experience for student-athletes, coaches, officials, and fans.
  • Oversee facility setup, equipment preparation, game day logistics, and event signage.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise game day staff supporting ticketing, concessions, event operations, and customer service.
  • Serve as the primary on-site liaison for game officials, visiting teams, event personnel, and campus partners to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Assist with game management while ensuring compliance with NCAA Division II, conference, and university policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement innovative digital media strategies that increase fan engagement, brand awareness, and community support.
  • Produce compelling graphics, photography, videos, and multimedia content highlighting athletic competitions, student-athlete achievements, and departmental initiatives.
  • Capture and share real-time game day content across social media platforms.
  • Assist with athletic communications, statistical reporting, and sports information initiatives.
  • Collaborate with coaches and athletic department staff to promote recruiting, special events, and community outreach activities.

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree preferred. Experience in the NCAA DI, DII, DIII or the NAIA.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of sport rules and regulations as well as NCAA DII rules and regulations. Superior oral and written communication skills; effective organization and communication skills; strong computer skills. Strong knowledge of media platforms, video editing, and graphic design tools. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, colleagues, student-athletes and subordinates.
