Email Marketing Manager
Paramount Games — Growth & Marketing
Engagement: Freelance / Contract
Hours: Variable, TBD based on campaign volume
About the Role
Paramount Games is looking for a contractor/temporary Email Marketing Specialist to support campaign execution across our growing portfolio of titles. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role — you'll move fluidly between strategy and execution, owning everything from copy and build to deployment and reporting. You'll work closely with our in-house campaign and design teams, but you need to be able to operate independently and move fast.
This is not a strategy-only or copy-only role. The right person is equally comfortable writing subject lines and building journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

This is a temporary role anticipated to last approximately 6 months. Can be a temporary W2 employee or independent contractor if you have your own LLC.
What You'll Do
  • Partner with the campaign team to understand program goals, audience segments, and send cadence for each title and activation
  • Brief the design team on email creative needs and ensure assets are delivered on-spec for SFMC builds
  • Write email copy — subject lines, preview text, headlines, and body — that's on-brand, conversion-focused, and tailored to audience and beat
  • Build and QA emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud using existing branded templates
  • Build and manage journeys in SFMC, including segmentation logic, send rules, and suppression lists
  • Set up and QA UTM tracking and ensure data capture flows are functioning correctly pre-send
  • Deploy emails and monitor send health, deliverability, and engagement metrics post-send
  • Manage IP health and sender reputation, flagging any deliverability issues proactively
  • Pull and interpret performance reports, surface insights and recommendations to the campaign team
Maintain organized, well-documented campaign records within SFMC
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM marketing, or lifecycle marketing, with at least 3 years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
  • Hands-on SFMC experience — you've built, QA'd, and deployed in the platform, not just managed vendors who do
  • Strong email copywriting chops with a track record of writing for gaming, entertainment, or fan-driven audiences (a plus)
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS email rendering, mobile optimization, and dark mode QA
  • Understanding of CRM best practices — segmentation, suppression, A/B testing, deliverability, IP warming
  • Comfort working across multiple titles or campaigns simultaneously with shifting priorities
  • Clear, direct communicator who can work cross-functionally with creative and campaign teams without heavy oversight
Nice to Have
  • Experience with landing page / email capture flow & tools
  • Background in games, entertainment, or IP-driven marketing
  • Familiarity with UTM architecture and analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, GA)

Engagement Details
  • Freelance / contract, W-9 or corp-to-corp
  • Hours variable week-to-week based on campaign volume; estimated X–X hours/week
  • Remote; must be available for regular syncs during PT business hours
The hourly rate for this role is $36 - $53.

Paramount, a Skydance Corporation is a diversified media company creating high quality, event-level entertainment for global audiences. The Company brings to life stories of immersive worlds across its feature film, television, interactive/games, and animation divisions.
