Position Summary


g.r.e.g. Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sustainability Project Coordinator to join our growing team.


This position supports project managers by coordinating sustainability certification documentation, tracking project compliance, communicating with project teams, and ensuring projects remain on schedule throughout the certification process.


The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative environment, possesses exceptional organizational skills, and has a passion for sustainable building practices and environmental stewardship.


Essential Responsibilities


Project Coordination


  • Coordinate sustainability certification documentation throughout the life of each project. 
  • Maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables. 
  • Track certification requirements and compliance deadlines. 
  • Communicate with developers, architects, contractors, engineers, and project teams. 
  • Coordinate field inspections and project meetings as needed. 
  • Support Project Managers throughout multiple active projects. 


Sustainability Program Support


Support projects pursuing programs including:

  • LEED for Homes 
  • GreenPoint Rated 
  • TCAC 
  • CUAC 
  • California Title 24 
  • Solar Roof Studies 
  • Site Energy Coordination 
  • Additional sustainability programs as assigned 


Documentation Management


  • Review submitted documentation for completeness and program compliance. 
  • Prepare certification documentation and project submittals. 
  • Maintain organized electronic project files. 
  • Track outstanding documentation requests. 
  • Maintain company quality standards and document control procedures. 
  • Field testing document management and data input to CHEERS Registry


Quality Assurance


  • Perform internal quality assurance reviews. 
  • Identify missing documentation and project deficiencies. 
  • Prepare monthly project status reports. 
  • Assist with internal project review meetings. 
  • Ensure documentation accuracy prior to certification submission. 


Qualifications


Required


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. 
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Bluebeam. 


Preferred


  • LEED Green Associate or LEED AP Homes 
  • GreenPoint Rated Rater or familiarity with GreenPoint Rated 
  • Experience with California Title 24 Energy Code 
  • Knowledge of multifamily construction 
  • AutoCAD or Revit experience 
  • Salesforce experience 
  • Experience working within the construction, architecture, engineering, or sustainability industries

Work Environment

Compensation


The anticipated starting range for this position is $25.00โ€“$27.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. g.r.e.g. Consulting recognizes that exceptional candidates may bring specialized knowledge and industry experience. Compensation for highly qualified applicants will be evaluated based on experience, certifications, and overall qualifications.
