Job description

The Handyman completes assigned general maintenance and carpentry tasks in support of the Growing Farm operations and B&G priorities. The Handyman will work both outdoors and indoors, in mushroom houses and mushroom beds, and, in different weather conditions.

What will you be doing?

  • Performing basic carpentry and maintenance tasks to ensure the continued safe functioning of the farms and other facilities.
  • Performing basic plumbing tasks to keep farm, office and human-use fixtures operating effectively.
  • Performing basic facility inspections and submit reports to the B&G Manager.
  • Ensuring effective operation of water systems.

Minimum requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge in all phases of carpentry required; plumbing is a plus.
  • General handyman background is required.
  • Valid Driver's License is a must
  • Clear driving record is a must
