G&G Holistic Consultation and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers the convenience of working from home, with the flexibility to set your own schedule while meeting patient needs. The tools you’ll use in your practice include secure telehealth platforms for conducting online sessions, digital record-keeping systems, and evidence-based treatment planning resources that enhance patient care.

• Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients through empathetic listening and effective communication strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, utilizing DSM-5 criteria to guide your patient evaluations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that consider each client’s unique circumstances, preferences, and cultural background.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding discussions that promote healing and recovery while fostering a safe environment for expression.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback, ensuring a responsive therapeutic approach.

Our diverse patient population includes individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related disorders. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, helping them navigate their personal journeys towards improved mental health. The emphasis on holistic treatment ensures that you will consider not only psychological factors but also emotional and social aspects of each client’s experience.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy, demonstrating effective therapeutic techniques.
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to effectively handle caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

While not mandatory, experience with specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Family Systems Therapy can be advantageous. Familiarity with telehealth practices and experience working in community mental health settings are also preferred. Candidates should be comfortable working with a diverse array of clients, including those from varying socioeconomic backgrounds.
