JOB TITLE: Entertainment Special FX Makeup Artist
REPORTS TO: Entertainment Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Entertainment
PAY RATE: $25.00/hour
ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS: August 3rd, 2026
ANTICIPATED FILL DATE: August 22nd, 2026
JOB SUMMARY: Special FX makeup artist for Halloween actors.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare makeup
  • Set up for makeup application
  • Clean work area
  • Work with various individuals to apply makeup
  • Perform various other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Airbrush experience preferred
  • May include cream, prosthetic applications
  • Manage time wisely
  • Basic FX makeup skills
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Required to work in various weather conditions.
  • Available to work overtime.
  • Available to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Attention to detail.

  • Possess normal or average corrected hearing. (Defined as 25 decibels or better in the frequency range of 500HZ-4000HZ considered normal speech frequency range). (If a corrective device is needed to achieve this range, it must be worn while on duty).
