The SLA Analysis Group's mission is to deliver objective analyses, plans and strategies to US Navy, US Marine Corps, USAF, other DoD, and Australian Defence Force clients to support technology development, acquisition, delivery and sustainment decisions. The group provides the core of SPA thought leadership on Undersea Strategy, Software Development and Cost Estimating, with additional benchmark capabilities in AI/ML & Decision Analytics, Modeling and Simulation, and Future Force Assessments. SPA has a near term need for an experienced computer modeler to produce quantitative analysis of CBRN effects to support our customer in Arlington, VA. MC Responsibilities The CWMD Model Programmer uses advanced programming languages to model CBRN effects applied to air operations. The CMP will develop frameworks for incorporating scientific data, testing results, and other inputs. Model outputs will characterize environmental factors and operational risk to personnel and operations. Qualifications Required: * Bachelor's degree and 7 years' experience with military operations analysis and/or CWMD modeling * Advanced proficiency in using and applying Python, C++, and Visual Basic within DoD analytic environments * Recent experience with AF and DoD counterproliferation and CWMD programs * Top Secret clearance with SCI and sub-compartment eligibility, and the ability to maintain these throughout employment Desired: * 10 years' experience conducting CWMD / CBRN operational analysis * 5 years' experience within DTRA or Service CWMD staff organization Pay Range Information At SPA, we strive to deliver a robust total compensation package that will attract and retain top talent.
