Job description

Do you enjoy staying active, helping customers and working as part of a team? Hawkins Ace Hardware is looking for an outgoing, dependable individual to join our team as a Loader.

As a Loader, you'll interact with customers throughout the day while loading merchandise by hand or forklift, unloading delivery trucks, assembling products, and delivering purchases to customers' homes and businesses. Every day is different, and every customer interaction is an opportunity to make a positive impact.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist customers by loading purchases safely and efficiently by hand or forklift.
  • Load and unload freight trucks.
  • Receive, organize, stock, and replenish merchandise on sales floor shelves and in overstock areas
  • Assemble merchandise including grills, wheelbarrows, lawn mowers, patio furniture, and other products.
  • Deliver merchandise to customers' homes and businesses while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (training provided).
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure customers receive the legendary Ace Helpful service they're expecting.
  • Previous loading, warehouse, or delivery experience is a plus—but not required. We provide comprehensive, hands-on training from day one.
