Experienced Furniture Delivery Driver - 26' Box Truck
Pennsauken, NJ Full-Time Up to $25/hour + $2,500 Sign-On Bonus
American Furniture Rental is hiring an experienced Furniture Delivery Driver / Installer for our Pennsauken, NJ location.
This is a full-time, local route position for a dependable, safety-focused driver with experience operating a 26' box truck and handling furniture delivery, pickup, installation, and customer-facing service.
We are looking for someone who can do more than drive. The right person can lead a helper, protect the product, communicate professionally with customers, complete paperwork accurately, and represent the company well on every stop.

Schedule

What You'll Do
As a Furniture Delivery Driver / Installer, you will play a key role in delivering, installing, and picking up furniture for residential, commercial, event, and trade show customers.
Responsibilities include:
  • Safely operating a 26' box truck in compliance with company and DOT requirements
  • Delivering, installing, and picking up furniture according to paperwork, floorplans, and customer instructions
  • Loading, securing, protecting, and unloading furniture properly
  • Keeping the truck organized and protecting products during transport
  • Completing required paperwork accurately
  • Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Communicating professionally with customers and internal teams
  • Leading and directing helpers while on the road
  • Assisting with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and product handling as needed

Requirements
  • Prior experience driving a 26' box truck
  • Prior furniture delivery, moving, installation, appliance delivery, or final-mile delivery experience strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and DOT drug screening
  • Ability to pass DOT physical requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb stairs, bend, push, pull, and stay active throughout the day
  • Basic tool knowledge, including cordless drill, screwdriver, and hand tools
  • Professional attitude and strong customer service skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
