Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

We believe that our Delivery Professionals are the heart and soul of our business, serving as the primary ambassadors to our valued customers.  We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Part - Time Delivery Professional to join our team at our Menomonee Falls, WI Service Center.  

Matthews International is a world wide leader in casket manufacturing, providing the highest quality wood, metal and cremation caskets and other products to our funeral home customers.  This position will be responsible for the delivery of new caskets to funeral homes in the surrounding area using company box trucks and vans.


Pay Rate:            $22 - hourly.
Work Schedule:  3 - 4 Days in week with availability to work on occasional Saturdays.
Work Shift:          First shift hours, our Delivery Professionals are home every early afternoon.
Weekly Hours:    25-29 hours per week. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Delivery of new caskets to funeral homes in the surrounding area using company box trucks and vans.
  • Contribute to our warehouse operations as required, assisting in tasks such as prepping, loading and unloading caskets, inventory management, and maintaining an organized workspace.
  • Service our customers with a friendly and welcoming smile.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous delivery driver experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have current driver's license (CDL is NOT required).
  • Ability to pass a DOT Physical and MVR Check.
  • Maintain a safe driving record, demonstrating responsible and cautious driving behavior.

  • Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear and see.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
