Job description

About Impact Funeral Partners

Impact Funeral Partners (IFP) is a fast-growing funeral home organization headquartered in Lehi, Utah. Founded in 2020, IFP was built on a simple but ambitious idea: bring together the best people, practices, and ideas to set the standard of care in the funeral profession. The company is guided by four core values: Seek to Understand, Commit to Excellence, Dare to Lead, and Dream to Impact.

Today, IFP owns and supports 85+ funeral home locations across the country. IFP focuses on empowering local operators, providing the people, practices, and infrastructure that let them focus on what matters most: honoring lives and comforting families.

Role Overview

The Funeral Arranger at Owens Livingston Funeral Home is a family-facing role at the heart of what we do. You will guide families through one of the most difficult experiences of their lives with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail, helping them create meaningful, personalized tributes for their loved ones.

This role is well-suited for someone who is naturally empathetic, highly organized, and finds purpose in serving others. Prior funeral service experience or licensure is a plus, but we are open to candidates from care-based backgrounds who are eager to grow in the profession.

Key Responsibilities

Family Arrangements & Care

  • Meet with families to guide arrangement conferences with warmth, patience, and professionalism
  • Help families personalize services to honor and celebrate the lives of their loved ones
  • Explain available services, merchandise, and pricing clearly and without pressure
  • Coordinate all details of the service, including clergy, music, obituaries, flowers, and other vendor logistics
  • Follow up with families through the aftercare process to ensure their needs are met

Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete and file all required paperwork accurately, including death certificates, permits, and authorizations
  • Maintain thorough and organized records in accordance with Arizona regulations and company standards
  • Ensure all documentation is obtained and processed in a timely manner

On-Call & Removal Support

  • Participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Assist with or perform decedent removals with professionalism and dignity
  • Coordinate with licensed staff and the preparation team on timing and logistics

Team & Facility

  • Maintain a welcoming, clean, and professional environment for families visiting the funeral home
  • Collaborate with the broader team on scheduling, service support, and day-to-day operations
  • Represent Owens Livingston and IFP with professionalism in all community interactions

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in funeral service is preferred
  • Genuine compassion for families and the ability to remain calm and composed in emotional environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with documentation
  • Clear, professional communication skills, both in person and in writing
  • Comfortable with on-call availability, including nights and weekends
  • Reliable, dependable, and committed to showing up for families and teammates alike

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance and more
  • Paid Time Off
  • Sick Leave
  • Maternity Leave
  • 401(k) Plan

Why IFP?

Our core vision is to find, achieve, and enjoy a better way. We believe there is always something we can do to better serve each other and the families in our communities. We are committed to being the employer and provider of choice in every market we serve.
