Children's Hope Alliance (CHA) is seeking a strategic and data-driven Development Operations Manager to lead the systems, insights, and processes that drive fundraising performance and philanthropic growth.


This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who excels at working with donor data, CRM systems, reporting, dashboards, and cross-functional initiatives. The Development Operations Manager will strengthen data integrity, enhance reporting capabilities, support donor services and gift administration, monitor fundraising performance, and coordinate operational processes that improve accountability and results across the Development team.


The ideal candidate brings strong organizational and analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. They are comfortable translating data into actionable insights, identifying opportunities for improvement, streamlining processes, and supporting strategic decision-making that advances fundraising success and mission impact.


What You'll DoLead Development Systems & Operations
  • Serve as the primary administrator for CHA's donor CRM and fundraising systems.
  • Maintain data integrity, reporting standards, and user adoption.
  • Provide training, support, and process documentation.
Oversee Donor Services & Gift Administration
  • Manage gift processing, acknowledgments, pledges, restricted gifts, and donor records.
  • Coordinate donor stewardship workflows and fundraising operations.
  • Partner with Finance on reconciliations, reporting, and compliance practices.
Deliver Strategic Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.
  • Analyze fundraising trends, donor activity, pipeline health, and revenue performance.
  • Provide insights that support strategy, forecasting, and decision-making.
Strengthen Portfolio Accountability
  • Monitor fundraising activity and donor engagement.
  • Identify opportunities, stalled prospects, and stewardship gaps.
  • Support Development Officers through reporting and performance tools.
Drive Forecasting & Growth
  • Support annual fundraising goals, budgeting, and revenue forecasting.
  • Conduct territory and market analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Help leadership make data-informed investment and resource allocation decisions.
Lead Process Improvement & Project Management
  • Manage operational projects, workflows, and strategic initiatives.

QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of CRM/database management experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Experience in fundraising operations, nonprofit operations, CRM administration, analytics, project management, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data and insights to diverse audiences.
Preferred
  • Salesforce experience.
  • Nonprofit fundraising or advancement operations experience.
  • Experience with donor services, gift administration, and fundraising analytics.
