Am Law top 50 firm which is consistently ranked among the leading law firms is looking for an associate to join their Venture Capital Fund Formation practice.


The ideal candidate must have1-3 years of private investment fund formation experience are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have experience representing sponsors and investors in private investment funds and will have completed fund formation transactions, sponsor-level transactions (i.e., involving the general partner and management company entities), and secondary transactions involving limited partner and/or portfolio company interests. Candidates with experience representing high-growth businesses in connection with financings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters involving private investment funds, but who wish to focus on private investment fund formation and operations matters will also be considered. Candidates will have worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm, and will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
